Who We Are

Following Jesus Together

Kirby Woods is a Southern Baptist Church in East Memphis, TN, located on Poplar Avenue. If you are looking for a church where God’s Word is boldly proclaimed, you’re going to love Kirby Woods!

We believe the goal of the local church is to "present everyone mature in Christ" (Colossians 1:28). This principle drives everything we do—from our Sunday gatherings to our midweek studies. We want to help you move from being an infant in your faith to becoming a mature follower of Jesus, living with your "yes" on the table. When the Lord calls, may we be equipped and ready to say YES!
